FOUNDER
Founder Paul W. Caine was born on May 17, 1890, in Greencastle, Indiana, and enrolled at Indiana University as a business major. He worked as a cook at DePauw University, where he developed skills that supported himself and others. Caine was known for providing meals and catering services to support his fellow founders during difficult financial times. His entrepreneurial spirit and generosity played a practical role in sustaining the fraternity. He was remembered for his warmth, resourcefulness, and reliability.
